I get it — hiding behind poorly lit photos and beautiful stock images feels more comfortable than showing up as the face of your business. Unfortunately, nothing about that stands out or showcases how awesome and valuable you really are.

My branding and images used to mimic what the "successful" people in my industry were doing. I'd resort to stock pictures and grainy cellphone snapshots (ew), attempting to mimic their website and marketing visuals.
